I dont know anything about computers and so Im not sure what exactly I should buy. If someone understands this can you please tell me what I need to get for the game to stop shutting down while im playing because I dont have the right requirements.

I would truly appretiate any help. Thanks in advanced.

I have also heard, but am not sure if this is true, that if i uninstall all my sims 2 games, then the sims 3 will work better. is that true?Sims 3 system requirements?
I would say that the processor is the most important feature for any game to work properly, so unless you can find a way to upgrade the processor on your computer you may need to get another PC or laptop with at least 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent. Next I'd say memory is vital for any game to run smoothly (or at all). There are sites that sell computer parts such as extra memory that you can easily install. Just be sure to check whether the memory you may purchase is compatible with your computer model.

Hard drive space isn't normally a problem, but if it is I would suggest purchasing an external hard drive for documents, music, pictures, etc. to make extra room. Other than all of that you really just need to make sure that your video card is compatible and keep in mind that future expansion packs will also use up more space. If you are in fact thinking of looking for another computer, I wouldn't suggest another Vaoi because a Sony worker told me that those computers aren't really intended for gaming. I would suggest looking into Alienware as I have an Alienware laptop and it works like a charm. Those really are a good way to go.

I hope all of this helps. I know, it takes a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and cash just to have the necessary requirements to even play the game, but it sure is worth it.
