well, that card only has 64-bit memory interface, it would be better if it was 128-bit or higher. however it does have pixel shader 3.0 so it should work fine with the 512mb.
i know people can play spore with the 7100 so it should also work for sims 3. you can always install a new graphics card into the PCI Express slot if you want to later on.
im sure your pc will probably come with that slot as most newer computers do. double check that though, it'll be under the "expansion slots" section in the specifications of the pcThe sims 3 system requirements help!?
They haven't released any information, but I recommend getting one with at least 512mb of VRAM, (just so you know - 1GB is a waste of money), and you should be fine, but you also need a good processor and memory (ie RAM).The sims 3 system requirements help!?
