Sims 3 System Requirements?

I ran a test on systemrequirementslab.com to see if the Sims 3 would work on my computer, and it said that everything was fine except for the CPU speed... is this one of those things where the game isn't gong to run beautifully, but it will still run, or where the game will run so poorly it's not even worth it?Sims 3 System Requirements?
It will probably lag and be slow.
My computer has really bad specs

4 GB RAM

AVG dual core processor

It's not very good, but the game runs beautifully on low graphics. Unfortunatly, it sounds like your computer will only run it on low graphics. I love the game, it's still very fun, but if you enjoy having stunning imagery in your game, I'm afraid it probably won't run very well on medium/high graphics.

Hard to say, best thing you can do is compare the specs yourself.



I've linked below to the Sims 3 requirements page. If your computer is lacking in any of the areas you will probably have issues running the game. Seems like a lot of people are having trouble.

It should do one of two things... either immediately say that it can't run because the CPU speed isn't compatible, or it will chug along until it crashes the computer, causing your computer to restart.
