My Computer Is:

So With My Processor Being Lower Than * 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent, Can It Run The Sims 3 Or Is It Equivalent To It?The Sims 3 System Requirements Problem?

just click sims 3 under the product list then click Can You Run It then you should see your resultsThe Sims 3 System Requirements Problem?
In my opinion, it should work, as you have a 1.86 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, which makes it more powerful than even a faster clocking 2.0 GHz P4 Processor. The extra core makes all the difference :)

Of course, that's just my opinion, I can't guarantee if it will work on your computer.

Good luck running the game! The Sims 3 System Requirements Problem?
It should work, just on lower settings.
A Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz is much faster than a pentium 4 2.0GHz.

A pentium 4 2.0ghz scores 262 cpumarks while a Core 2 duo 1.86ghz scores 1096 cpumarks (that makes it 4 X faster than the pentium 4).

This is due to the major difference in FSB and L2 cache.
